After a very busy week, we are ready to leave on our trip! The plan was to leave today, however, we did not manage to get it all organized. John and I have been extremely busy last week and we just needed today to feel we were ready.
Since Wednesday we are staying with friends, so that we could pack up the last things in our house. Yesterday we cleaned our apartment and we handed in the keys. We are now officially homeless and jobless, by choice obviously.
The children had their last day of school and both had a special day with their peers and teachers. They both got thoughtful gifts and look back on amazing years in their school.
Saying goodbye was not easy, especially for Myron, who has made some very special friends over the years. But we know that we have to say goodbye in order to go on this trip.
We are about to embark on a big adventure and we cannot wait to start it!
