Spitzkoppe

Spitzkoppe is a group of bald granite peaks and we met up with Sylvia and Friendwart at the campsite in this area. All camping spots were secluded and ours was next to a great hill to climb. The view after climbing up was very rewarding. Dinner when we got back was rewarding as well ;)

Together with our friends, Myron and I made a hike up to Bushman's Paradise Cave. A guide joined us and explained a lot about the area and the Bushman living in this region.

We found some 2000- to 4000-year-old prehistoric rock paintings in the cave but most were destroyed by tourists over the years :(

That's the main reason you now are only allowed to hike here with a guide.

It was a beautiful hike in good company.

After a stunning sunrise the next morning, we said goodbye to Sylvia and Friedwart. We hope to see each other again in Windhoek.
