The northern leg of our journey began with a ferry boat from Puttgarden in Germany to Rødby in Denmark. We were meeting my sister, brother-in-law and nephew on the Danish island of Falster.
We spent three lovely days together. We shared elaborate meals and just enjoyed spending time with one another. The wind was super strong but that did not stop two scientists and a technician from making a clothesline that could withstand the wind. Our laundry was dry within an hour!
The dune protected us from the wind which made our time on the beach that much more pleasant. Life was good!
