Myron's Musings: Fifty

I have decided to call my blogs on our website Myron’s Musings. Here is edition #1!

Ever since my mom and dad told me on May 30th about our trip I haven’t been able to stop thinking how amazing this is going to be! And now here I am 50 days before we drive away from Winnipeg and start this once in a lifetime experience trip. The last 7 months have been, well, different than usual. We start to pack our house and I have to pack up my room which is worse than cleaning it and I already hate cleaning my room. 😏

When we had staged the house and it was ready for open house we got bids etcetera and then the night that my mom and dad chose a bid for our house it clicked in my head that we were going: we were going into a rental apartment for a little while and we are going to travel and leave Winnipeg!!! It is all going so fast my brain can barely keep up with it!

As for two days ago my parents told their work that they will quit their jobs and we got the confirmation that our motorhome can be shipped from Halifax to Hamburg! Yesterday the official email went to the school and we booked our flight tickets!!! OMG this is crazy isn’t it!? Well I definitely think it is!

A lot of people ask me if we are coming back to Winnipeg but really that all depends on my parents’ jobs. We have to come back to Winnipeg anyway because we have our storage unit here and the cats of course!!!

During this trip I hope to visit family, see lots of wildlife and land marks. For Christmas I got a GoPro and I am also exited to use that on our trip!

I have started the count down and I calculated that there are only 33 days of school left. Which means that I am going to enjoy my friends at school and my amazing and absolutely fabulous teacher Mr. G!!!

Thanks for tuning in to edition one of Myron’s Musings!
