The beauty of our trip is the fact that we are so close to The Netherlands and that our path can cross our home country whenever we feel like it.
We did just that in the middle of July. We spent a special day with my sister and her family at my mom's and we camped a weekend with dear friends. We also celebrated John's mom's birthday with a special get-together with Oma & Opa and John's sister and her family.
It was the first time in 8 years that we all were together! It was a flag kind of day!
Gerard, Margriet and Vincent are very dear friends of ours. The weekend together at a farm campsite was just perfect!
Worth a mentioning:
Raija made her very first independent purchase at this farm. She took a 2 euro coin and bought eggs for us all!
If Raija had a choice, she would eat eggs at every meal. So for her to buy these on her own, was priceless. She was so proud :)
Another special day was at John's parents, where we had a lovely get-together with John's sister and her beautiful family. The cousins had great fun together.
We treasure all these moments and will take them along while we head north!
