Family

We spent a day with my cousin and her husband. They have been living in Cambridge for a long time and we have never been able to visit them until now. They took us on a punting experience through the old town. Myron loved to maneuver us on the river Cam.

It was lovely to see all the university buildings from our little boat and to see so many people out on a beautiful sunny Sunday.

Homeschooling comes in many forms and a nice surprise came the moment we saw the Mathematical Bridge. Myron was so excited to tell us all about the bridge of which he had learned in his science lesson on Structures and Forces.

While walking through Cambridge, Raija really enjoyed finding Dinky Doors. As dinkydoors.co.uk tells us: "They are miniature sculptures (with doors), lovingly made and hidden just out of plain sight in the beautiful city of Cambridge. They’re petite portals into other worlds, made with a dollop of humour to spark imaginations and make people smile." Well, they made us smile for sure!

This whole day made us smile!

The last time we were together was in Vancouver, when Myron was not even one year old!

Corinne and Edo, thank you for this day!
